In 2010, Müller Medien launched the Bundes-Schülerfirmen-Contest (German Student Company Contest). This online competition is geared towards all real student companies in Germany, regardless of which type of school they belong to. Student companies help young people acquire basic economic knowledge in theory and practice, fostering personal initiative, a sense of responsibility, and a spirit of teamwork.

With the Bundes-Schülerfirmen-Contest, Müller Medien aims to promote the next generation of German entrepreneurs and support young people in becoming entrepreneurs while they are still at school.

Our corporate family is aware of its responsibility with regard to the environmentally friendly use of resources. We advocate the sustainable and responsible use of natural resources and the maintenance of social and ecological standards along the wood, pulp, paper, printing, and recycling chain.

For the production of directories, we work exclusively with printing houses that are certified according to the standards of PEFC and FSC. This means that 100 percent of the wood used in the directories comes from sustainable forestry, ensuring the promotion of environmentally friendly, socially and economically viable forest management. In addition, print directories contain up to 50 percent waste paper. Telephone directories are 99.9 percent recyclable.
